Vernon Pickleball Association Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote the development and growth of all aspects of the game of Pickleball — social, recreational, and competitive — to individuals of all ages and abilities in Greater Vernon. We encourage the sport in a safe and respectful environment and provide all players an opportunity to learn and improve their play.
The Vernon Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical Services Pickleball Complex

The Vernon Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical Services Pickleball Complex is situated in beautiful Vernon British Columbia, Canada and is the largest covered dedicated pickleball complex in Canada (2024). It is home for the Vernon Pickleball Association (VPA) and its 1200 members. The 12 pickleball courts are available for both dedicated member play and select hours for non-member play.

A total of $3.4 million has been invested in the construction of the facility since the concept was first proposed in 2013. Under the current agreement, the VPA will operate at least until 2042 for the benefit of our members as well as the general public. Besides the $2.3 million in capital our club has provided, there are thousands of member volunteer hours associated with the three phases of construction, which have easily saved over a million dollars in costs. The VPA will also pay all operating costs for the next 20 years (currently $300K per year), which adds up to an additional $6 million. This amount does not include the volunteer hours associated with various committees and functional groups.

The City of Vernon and its residents have a world-class, well-used facility that promotes fitness and mental health. Thanks in large part to the generosity of the VPA and its members, the city has gained a lasting amenity that enhances Vernon’s appeal to outsiders—all at no cost to taxpayers.
The Vernon facility has 12 indoor pickleball courts and fantastic playing conditions.

The Herrmann House Addition (2024)
VPA Phase III (The Herrmann House Addition) completes our world-class facility with a reception area, administration space, washrooms, and a social area. This 2,000 sq. ft. building, added to the original court structure, was designed at a preliminary cost of $1.25 million and was successfully completed as planned in July 2024.
Thanks to all the volunteers who made this wonderful addition a reality!
