What are the VPA operating hours? We are open every day from 8am-9pm; except for Christmas Day. Bookings may be closed throughout the year due to tournaments or early closure due to lack of court bookings. Check the "Activity Calendar" on the VPA website for detailed information and events that may cause changes to the regular schedule.

What are the court fees to play at VPA?
-
How can I pay for my play? For both members and non-members: payment is either by court time or monthly pass. Please purchase a monthly pass before booking courts in the following month as you will be charged for your court if your pass is not purchased in time. Members: have the option of purchasing club credits or using their credit card. We prefer members purchasing club credits to avoid numerous credit card fees. Court bookings, lessons, and monthly passes can all be paid using one's club credits. Non-Members: the preferred method of payment is by credit card. A credit card will be saved to your account profile in order for court fees to be processed. If you do not pay for your play, your court/reservation could be canceled. You may also purchase a monthly pass for unlimited play during the month using your credit card.

We have beginner - intermediate - advanced paddles from our sponsor, Pickleball Depot, available for any booked session. There is no charge to use the paddles but identification is required to check out equipment.

Is eye protection required?Yes! Eye protection is mandatory. We have a limited supply of sports safety goggles available to borrow if you have forgotten your eye protection. Check at the front desk for availability.

Do you have any drop-in sessions? Our drop-in sessions are called Paddles Up. Registration is required and can be found under the “Register for Calendar Sign Ups” section of your account.
-
What is the temperature in the facility?During the winter, we have furnaces that keep the building at or close to 14 C. During the summer months, we open up our large garage doors and turn on our fans to keep the place considerably cooler than it is outside.

-
How do I join the waitlist to become a member?Click the Waitlist Registration button below. There is no cost to joining the waitlist, and no need to renew. Your waitlist account will remain in our system until you are invited.
-
What is the difference between a member and a non-member?
-
How long should I expect to be on the waitlist? There is no direct timeline to expect an invitation. At the beginning of the year, we assess how many members did not renew, then determine the amount that we will be inviting that year. The number of non-renewals does not necessarily corelate to the number of invitations that we send out. You can always call our desk and ask for your position on the waitlist.
-
What are the annual VPA Membership Fees?
-
Is the Pickleball Canada Organization (PCO) membership the same as the VPA membership? No. A PCO membership is required for all VPA members. But Non-members at VPA are not required to have a PCO account. A PCO account with VPA as one of your clubs does not equate to a VPA membership.
-
